What did you love best about The Blood Royal?

I loved all the books in this series, the ones taking place in India most. But this one (playing in London) is the best so far. Great story and very good narrator.

What other book might you compare The Blood Royal to and why?

    None.

What about Andrew Wincott???s performance did you like?

He sounded the way I invision Sandilands would sound.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, but I could not stop listening.

    Any additional comments?

I hope the next one comes out soon.

Jimm Juree was a crime reporter for the Chiang Mai Daily Mail with a somewhat eccentric family. When she is forced to follow her family to a rural village on the coast of Southern Thailand, she’s convinced her career—maybe her life—is over. So when a van containing the skeletal remains of two hippies is inexplicably unearthed in a local farmer’s field, Jimm is thrilled. Shortly thereafter an abbot at a local Buddhist temple is viciously murdered.

I like the author (Dr. Siri Paiboun series) and the book very much, but the narrator is very boring.

It's approaching Christmas in Rome and snow is falling in a way that only happens every 20 or 30 years. The city is soon paralyzed by an unseasonably icy grip, and in the dark corners of the Pantheon a grim and mysterious story begins to unfold.

    Overall

This is one of the best books I heard lately. It is well written and tells not only a story with great characters, but shows a lot of the conveluted and corrupt mechanisms of States. The person is nobody, the interests of of a State and it's minions, all. This is book 3 in a great series. Since I could not find the other ones as audios, I bought the books. Great reads!!!!!
