Comeback America is a crucial manifesto, a way for President Obama to end out-of-control government spending and reform our tax, retirement, health care, defense, and other systems - before it's too late.

This book should be required reading for every voter in the USA. We need to clean house in Washington and put this country back on track.

John Puller is a combat veteran and the best military investigator in the U.S. Army's Criminal Investigative Division. His father was an Army fighting legend, and his brother is serving a life sentence for treason in a federal military prison. Puller has an indomitable spirit and an unstoppable drive to find the truth.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If i were Lee Child I'd be yelling Copy Right infringement! They are both Bad-Ass military cops. Even their names are similar, Reacher and Puller. All they need is a Pusher to make it a three-way. Baldacci should stick with the John Carr. Don't be diss'n other people.

In The Sword of the Lady, Rudi Mackenzie's destiny was determined. Now he returns to Montival in the Pacific Northwest, where he will face the legions of the Prophet. To achieve victory, Rudi must assemble a coalition of those who had been his enemies a few months before and forge them into an army that will rescue his homeland. This in the seventh book in the Emberverse series and it did not disappoint. Great story line, memorable characters and good narration make this series a winner. I find it hard to turn it off. Can't wait for the next installment!

Jungles come in many forms. There are the steamy rain forests of the Burmese highlands. There are the lies and betrayals of the world of covert operations. And there are the dark and twisted thoughts of a man bent on near-global domination. To pull off their latest mission, Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon must survive them all.

Really enjoyed this story as I do with all Cusslers' work. I read some bad reviews of the narrator so I was apprehensive. After all Scott Brick is one of the all time greats. After the first 10 minutes I was completely absorbed in the story and never gave it a second thought. Jason Culp did a very good job, well done. If you like Cusslers work, you won't be disappointed.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

Pamela Murphy says: "COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN"
    "Great"

I was pleasantly surprised how good this book is. I was a little leery about reading a Swedish author but the translation and the narrator are very good. Salander is my kind of girl, young, quiet, smart and sexy.

Mikael Blomkvist, crusading journalist and publisher of the magazine Millennium, has decided to publish a story exposing an extensive sex trafficking operation between Eastern Europe and Sweden, implicating well-known and highly placed members of Swedish society, business, and government. On the eve of publication, the two reporters responsible for the story are brutally murdered.

Played with fire may be better than the first novel if that is possible! It is such a shame Stieg is gone, he has so much talent. I look forward to the next book to be released in May.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Suzanne says: "The scare is in the human nature under stress."
    "Dome of Boredom"
    Overall

I have like much of Kings work in the past but unfortunately the Dome is not worthy to share the book shelf or in this case the hard drive with the others. First and foremost the reader is an armature that has little command of what it take to hold a listeners interest. His attempt at giving the characters life and to create accents that fit the location of the story is poor at best. One of the main characters "Renee", a Selectman from a small town in Maine, sounds like he is from South Carolina. His attempt to create children's voices is laughable and painful at the same time. If I hear the name "Barbie" spoken in that sing-song sarcastic way I think I'll scream. As for the story itself, It really fell flat for me. I know King is all about the supernatural but this story is so ridiculous and lacks any reason for the event itself that I wanted it to end. And speaking about ending, this story could be 5 hours shorter and you wouldn't miss anything. Kings attempts at humor by interjecting stupid one liners at the most inopportune moments is frustrating. I found myself telling the character "shout up and answer the question", it more important than your joking". So you see I didn't really care for this story. King can and has done much better. But to each his own. P.S. Raul, look for another line of work!

Once again, David Sedaris brings together a collection of essays so uproariously funny and profoundly moving that his legions of fans will fall for him all over again. He tests the limits of love when Hugh lances a boil from his backside, and pushes the boundaries of laziness when, finding the water shut off in his house in Normandy, he looks to the water in a vase of fresh cut flowers to fill the coffee machine.
