This is a fantastic audio book. Not only is the story interesting and the writing fluent, but also the narrator speaks with an intrigued anticipation, making this audio book an engulfing peace of obscure history. The only disappointment is that the last hour is dedicated to citations, so you really only get about six-and-a-half-hours of story. Although, I hate to call journalistic integrity a disappointment.
If you care anything at all about computers this is worth a listen.
I had not become a fan of this story until recently, and this rendition has made me appreciate it a lot more. Tim Curry gives a wonderful performance. Thank you Audible for the great gift!
This was my first Christopher Moore story, and I enjoyed the heck out of it. It is quite funny, and generally entertaining. Susan Bennett does a great job with all of the voices; they're very distinguishable, and they all have their own subtle nuances. I was hocked on Christopher Moore after this book.
