Rescued from sexual slavery by a mysterious Pakistani officer, Caleb carries the weight of a debt that must be paid in blood. The road has been long and fraught with uncertainty, but for Caleb and Livvie, it's all coming to an end. Can he surrender the woman he loves for the sake of vengeance? Or will he make the ultimate sacrifice?

Where to even begin? This is one of the most raw and brutally emotional series, likely falls into the dark erotic romance genre. I put it down a few times just for a breather. But then I couldn't stay away and as soon as I was done with the first book, I started this one. So taken with the story, I had to know what would happen next for Caleb and Olivia. Just as with the first book, I was seduced by this story. There's nothing predictable about this couple and that makes for a more intense read.

Meet Shane Baxter. Sexy, dark, and dangerous, Bax isn't just from the wrong side of the tracks, he is the wrong side of the tracks. A criminal, a thug, and a brawler, he was the master of bad choices, until one such choice landed him in prison for five years. Now Bax is out and looking for answers, and he doesn't care what he has to do or who he has to hurt to get them. But there's a new player in the game, and she's much too innocent, much too soft…and standing directly in his way.

Crownover builds the story, slowly giving the details as Bax uncovers the truth and finds his brand of HEA with Dovie. In audiobook, the narrator gives a spot-on performance in relaying the emotion and the danger. I'm so glad I listened to this on audio because I didn't want to put it down once I started. Instead, I popped in my ear buds and listened while I cooked and while I weeded the garden.

Crownover stepped it up with Better When He’s Bad. From the intensity of their world to the angst between the characters, this book takes readers into a world where it just might be good to be bad.

Drew McAuliffe has lived in the small town of Rock Bay most of his adult life. He'd like to be happy, but not at the cost of having his private life under his nosy neighbors' microscope, so he keeps his bisexuality under wraps. After a messy breakup that caused him to pack up and move to Astoria, on the Oregon coast, Mason Anderson decides to avoid drama of the romantic kind. All he wants is to start over - alone...

Like going home to visit old friends, Letting Go takes readers back to Rock Bay and re-acquaints us with the characters from book one. They are fun and sweet and full of personality, each bringing a uniqueness to the book. With the beginning of the book focused on the main character's past -Drew and Mason- it started quite slowly. If their background could've been integrated within the present-day story, the flow might've been smoother but regardless, there was so much to love about the characters. Drew and Mason's love story was sweet - their obstacles never too much for them to overcome. I enjoyed listening to the narrator bring life to the author's words, and am eager to read about more of the characters from Rock Bay.

Justin Foster has 19 years of nothing but trouble behind him. After escaping his abusive father, he finds himself in Rock Bay, Washington, with his cousin Travis. Justin is bruised and has a hard time trusting, but with the help of his family and the small town, he might be able to heal. Logan O'Brien is also new in town, hoping he can finally get away from his past and the memories of the girlfriend who shattered his heart. It doesn't take him long to realize Rock Bay can be more than safe harbor: It can also be home.

This is the third book in the Rock Bay series and I've listened to each one on audio. The stories of the men and their friends have each been sweet and written in O'Shea's tender telling. The narrator was a good choice to convey the emotions packed into the stories. I couldn't help but connect with the characters, especially these two men. Logan has been a secondary character since book one, and it was wonderful to see him find his HEA. Justin, though just introduced to us, melded right into the group of friends that I now feel I know - and like.

This book -heck, the entire series- is a good read for the lighter, sweeter summer months.

Haunted by the tragic events of his childhood, he gets into fights after gigs and flies off the handle when the paparazzi approach. Story

This might be my favorite book in the series. I like Eric and Sarah more than Tucker and Cass. There's still all that drama and angst, sex and music but these two characters are easier to invest in. Although Eric and Sarah’s childhood stories broke my heart, their possibility of an HEA filled me with hope. There was an undeniable connection that makes readers know the characters are right for one another. The fact that everyone around them knew they were in love before Eric and Sarah admitted it themselves adds a fun element to the story.

Though a few lighter moments were sprinkled in, Eric and Sarah's story is not light. It's dark, brooding and angst-filled. But the ending makes all those darker moments worth the read.

Dan thinks about just driving, leaving the whole mess behind. He's got enough money. He could just arrange to get his stuff and his horse shipped to wherever he's going. Taking off is what he used to do when things got to be too much, and it worked pretty well, really.

This story is felt, not heard. Between the deep, emotions the author wrote and the prolific manner in which the narrator speaks, this book touches the reader. This is an amazingly beautiful story of -what I hope is- the beginning of a poly-amorous relationship. The three leading men are uniquely individual, yet somehow fit together. The journey they take, especially Dan who gets much of he focus, is monumental. And when he takes that final step, it's both beautiful and fulfilling. Such a tender love story.

She tamed the over-confident Casanova, Seth Marc, turning him into a one woman Romeo. With Seth's first professional fight coming up, she does her best to keep him focused and driven...even if that means withholding sex from him. Window Rock, Arizona, is the last known location of Honor Roberts, who vanished when she was just 13. It was her only sanctuary from the Breed research that would surely have ended in her death - one such insidious experiment should, indeed, have killed her. Now, with the help of Liza Johnson, assistant to the chief of the Navajo Nation, he is closer than ever to his goal.
