It’s all about the food…. For the Robertsons, family is typified by the dinner table, where both food and fables are dished up with equal care. Anyone with a good story - whether it be a hunting escapade or one of the children’s antics - is welcome to share. And that’s what this family is all about - sharing, caring for one another, and the love of good food. Chapters are built around recipes that represent each stage of the Robertson life. What do faith, family, ducks, and money have in common? Korie and Willie Robertson!

Internationally acclaimed Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz is considered to be one of the most brilliant and influential rabbis of our time. He has been lauded by Time magazine as a "once-in-a-millennium scholar" and by Ted Koppel of Nightline as "one of the very few wise men that I've ever met." Arthur Kurzweil—himself a Jewish scholar, author, teacher, publisher, and a longtime disciple of Rabbi Steinsaltz—has gathered in one place a collection of "pebbles" of wisdom from Rabbi Steinsaltz.

Packed with fascinating details, this fast-paced narrative will transport listeners back in time. In an exploration of the political and social landscape at the time of Jesus’s life, Bill O’Reilly takes on the questions surrounding his death. Who was involved in the trial and sentencing of Jesus? What circumstances led to his conviction? What were the motivations in killing Jesus? In the same way that the author gave fresh insight into the lives and times of Lincoln and Kennedy, this is an intimate portrait of the Jesus of history.

What made the experience of listening to The Last Days of Jesus the most enjoyable?

This is a story I can never grow tired of hearing about. Though you should just buy the whole book. (I didn’t read the small print that this was an excerpt of a full book that I had already purchased and listened to.) However, it was worth listening to again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

How Christ used different methods to show and teach His point.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book if the book didn't have the sexual content. Though this is a fictional work and I do not agree with all of the authors view points from a historical stand point. I do think that looking through life through the lens of the main character is well worth the time.

Which character – as performed by Carol Bilger – was your favorite?

The main character, as you felt the passion and many emotions that the main character experiences.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes, but only if the sexual content was cut.

In the Bible’s longest soliloquy, Moses imparts his final thoughts to the people of Israel. Deuteronomy is not a “repetition” of the Law, but a retelling of it to a new audience, on the backside of 40 years of experience. Join Logos Bible Study’s Dr. Bill Creasy as we listen to Moses address a new generation of God’s people on the plains of Jericho.

Have you listened to any of Dr. Bill Creasy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, many other performances. This performance was consistent with the authors performance in previous recordings.
