I would recommend this audiobook to a friend because it is very informative and has simple and effective advise on being mindful.
I would compare "Fear" by Thich Nhat Hanh to this book. It has a similar theme regarding mindfulness.
My favourite scene was Thich Nhat Hanh describing his return to his home after a walk in the woods only to find the storm had blown things all over and it was a mess and cold and dark. He used this as an analogy regarding a person returning to himself. Going home.
The insight that there is no separate self. We are all inter-being.

I would compare it to "The Present Moment" by Thich Nhat Hanh. The content is different and yet the message of love and compassion is very similar.
The story of David and Angelina was my favourite!
Yes, the moment when Thich Nhat Hanh says that his driver is his "Angelina". And when he describes having a wall of "Angelina's". And it inspired me so much to think of all the "Angelina's" in my life and to honour them.
Love and compassion radiates throughout this recording.
I was able to learn about a subject I didn't have a lot of time to sit and read about. This allowed me to do two things at once. For me it's a whole new world of opportunity to continue learning. I have lots of time while I'm driving or doing chores etc. Fantastic!
