Meet Don. Don is a genetics professor who just might be somewhere on the autistic spectrum. He looks a little like Gregory Peck and is getting married. He just doesn’t know who to yet. But he has designed a very detailed questionnaire to help him find the perfect woman. And it’s definitely not Rosie. Absolutely, completely, definitely not .Rosie, meanwhile, isn’t looking for love; she’s looking for her biological father. Sometimes, though, you don’t find love: love finds you...

This is one of the Best Books of 2013/14. Having an ASD son and being Aussie I had to keep reminding myself this was fiction not a bio it is so well written. I never have a problem with this when I I listen or read a book, the line is never blurred but with Don I wanted to shout at the him like I was at the theatre watching an interactive play and that is the brilliance of this book. The characters are completely engaging and all floored. You start out thinking Don is the most extremely floored but when it gets right down to it, is he really? What you see it what you get and that is so refreshing it scares! The only problem I had was when I came to the end of the book that I will have to wait for later in the year for the sequel to be released. PLEASE Audible bring it on ASAP with same narrator as well, PLEASE!!!

I really enjoyed this book, had a little giggle along the way and didn't see all the twists. Liked the main character very human. Can't wait to listen to next book.

Aaron Tucker, aspiring New Jersey screenwriter and occasional freelance journalist, puts on his sleuthing hat after a young man with Asperger's syndrome is arrested for a senseless murder. Despite damning evidence, including the accused's confession and possession of the murder weapon, Tucker, who has an autistic son, finds the nature of the crime incompatible with his understanding of the suspect's symptoms. Persisting even after a local mobster warns him off, the amateur detective uses his son to pursue the truth.

The life of Aaron Tucker - freelance writer and stay-at-home dad - is anything but boring. In fact, Aaron manages to find himself in way more danger than your typical mild-mannered Jewish guy. He lands in a murder investigation when a leading conservative politician is found dead in his DC hotel room, discovered by his mistress after her long post-coital shower. She (a former object of Aaron's affection) asks Aaron to find the killer.

Would you listen to A Farewell to Legs again? Why?

I would and have moved on to the next in the series I liked it so much.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The twist and turns are great with the quirky sense of humour of the main character.

Have you listened to any of Damon Abdallah’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes the first in the Aaron Tucker series and he does an excellent job

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I am an an ASD mum so thats why I tried this series to start with and what I love is how everyday and madcap the mysteries is all rolled into one.

    Any additional comments?

Fun easy listening with characters real and easy to fall in love with.
