This book is captivating, passionate, intense
Probably Blair, her sarcasm, whit and the chase of it all kept this book enticing the entire way through
I appreciate the changes in the tones and voices as Abby Craden tries to display emotion reeling from all characters
Definitely. I had the second one in my cart long before the first one was finished!
I loved that, unlike other self-development books, this particular book did not focus on changing anything about yourself as a person. Instead, Gretchen Rubin simply focuses on her own life and the areas she would like to improve in. Yet, as you listen, you will find yourself doing the same thing in your own life.
I enjoyed the whit and the personalization of it all. By the end of the book, you feel like you have gotten to know the author.
I would definitely recommend this audiobook. It is filled with wit, sarcasm, truth and sorrow. The narration in this book is incredible with a voice to match each character seemlessly. The story line will carry your imagination above and beyond, painting a picture vividly for each scene. This is one of those books you can't stop thinking about!
I love a book that stays with you long after you've read it, this is that book! Author and hiker, Cheryl Strayed, provided descriptive real life events and emotions. Her journey across the PCT made you feel like you were hiking alongside her, experiencing her physcial, emotional and spiritual changes.
