"Since the first navy frogmen crawled onto the beaches of Normandy, no SEAL has ever surrendered," writes Chuck Pfarrer. "No SEAL has ever been captured, and not one teammate or body has ever been left in the field. This legacy of valor is unmatched in modern warfare." Warrior Soul is a book about the warrior spirit, and it takes the listener all over the world. Former Navy SEAL Chuck Pfarrer recounts some of his most dangerous assignments.

Which character – as performed by Chuck Pfarrer – was your favorite?

The narrator is excellent. He gives great anecdotes of military life, colorfully describes military politics and personalities, and probably better than anything else I have read gives a feel for a battle environment. His description of his time in Beirut is amazingly well-written.

The first book of Day by Day Armageddon took us deep into the mind of a military officer and survivor as he made a New Year's resolution to start keeping a journal. The man kept his resolution and brought to us the fall of humanity, day by day. We see the man transition from the life that you and I live to the prospect of fighting for his very survival against the overwhelming hordes of the dead. We see him bleed, we see him make mistakes, we witness him evolve.

    Any additional comments?

Both of the Armageddon books are excellent. The books are successful as science fiction, horror, and survival stories. The character development of the protagonist and plot are first rate. I look forward to more by this author.
