After thirty years of marriage, Wilson Lewis, son-in-law of Allie and Noah Calhoun (of The Notebook), is forced to admit that the romance has gone out of his marriage.

    "Ladies over 40 Romance Novel."
    Overall

This is a cute story for women who like romance novels, but are over 40. Now the draw is...will the husband that I married suddenly do a 180 and be Prince Charming now that the kids have left the roost? Well this is such a fantasy story.
My husband and I started listening to this cause our 30th wedding anniversary is coming up. (He taught ME to be romantic.) We both got to thinking this was just too sappy. I finished listening to it, but was guessing the classic all-is-well outcome pretty early on.
The nice thing about this book is that everyone is moral, a very nice diversion from the crap that is out their today.
All in all if you are doing something else, this could be a nice sideline thing to listen to, but doesn't need your whole focus.

"Its mission is to document everyday life in this country. We sometimes think of it as a documentary show for people who normally hate documentaries. A public radio show for people who don't necessarily care for public radio. What we look for in putting the show together are stories that we love, truly love." Get the latest issue or subscribe!

    "Thought provoking..topics for discussion"
    Overall

I have taken a few of the one month subscriptions trying to find something I would like to listen to late at night while I do my graveyard shift. This one allows me to have something to say in the morning when I get home from work. Gives me the pulse on what the current thought patterns are in the US. Some I don't like at all, and some are quite respectable. Since I live in a very rural area it keeps me abreast to what's happening. I find it entertaining, unusual, and a little philosophical, which is very good.
