Absolutely! It elegantly and humorously conveys the importance of accepting imperfections within ourselves. More than that, it highlights how differently men and wonen experience the world.
Brene's stories make the theory so very much lighter and easier to remember, she keeps you giggling!
This question doesn't really apply to this sort of book, but Brene being Brene is awesome!
I love both - Juliet Stevenson is awesome and I savour the story in an audio version but sometimes reading the written word has more resonance
I love the ending of this book - every time it makes me smile and hopeful
The accents of England - she does them expertly and some of the heart in the characters of which I am less fond. I love the audiobook!
If it is your first listening, definitely, the second, third time its about enjoying the smaller moment.
It was good but not one of my classics
The combination of the two lead characters is the charm of this book
Fun space fantasy book focusing on their relationship - light and enjoyable
Definitely, wonderful story and an enjoyable episode in the continuing saga with Kaylin!
The explanations about the Leontine culture and as always, the humour
Awesome series and a great book!
Spying in the fifties
I can't claim as Toby did that I doubted Bond's survival but I did worry about the Bond girl and how it was all going to play out! Wonderfully fun!
No I haven't but hungry for more! May have to listen to the new Bond just to hear more
Lovely step back in time, fabulously entertaining
Yes, my understanding of the Barrani was vastly improved here as well as key background given to important characters - definitely worth a second listen
There is a lot of world building which slowed the pace down but I found the book wholly enjoyable!
I'm hooked on this series and will be reading it start to finish!
Ramses and Nefret along with David add a new dimension to an already beloved series - keeps it interesting!
Peabody books always keep me wanting outthink the book, work it out before they do - keeps me highly invested
Get hooked on this series immediately, if already hooked, buy this now!
The mystery within a mystery kept me on my toes!
Amelia, but then she is the heart of the story!
All of the characters in Barbara's expert hands are fabulous
The eastern flavour is awesome! So used to the western oriented fantasy stories that this was an escape to a different land with a new set of rules!
The story, whilst complex in myth, was simplistic, fast paced and humorous, my favourite bit was the eastern twist, the descriptions of people and places were magic!
I'll be listening to the next one in the series for sure!
This particular Peabody is the beginning of a new story arc and is delightful as it leaves you hungry for more!
100%. I battled to hit the pause button to continue with life, wanted to understand exactly what was going on!
Ramses is delightful in writing as well as in performance
I did laugh out loud several times!
Definitely! Love Amelia Peabody and Ramses and in this one, the two of them ROCK! Possibly the best in the series so far!
Its a more humorous Poirot in the desert of Egypt. Mystery and family drama with dry British wit
To answer would be to give away the story unfortunately, but this is the full cast of previous books all up to their own particular mischief!
