Thinking in Numbers is the book that Daniel Tammet, best-selling author and mathematical savant, was born to write. In Tammet's world, numbers are beautiful and mathematics illuminates our lives and minds. Using anecdotes, everyday examples, and ruminations on history, literature, and more, Tammet allows us to share his unique insights and delight in the way numbers, fractions, and equations underpin all our lives.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The information was fun to listen to, but the narration was extremely hard. He has a British accent but lives in France. This makes him very hard to listen to and at times hard to understand.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Often times the narrator brings an energy to the book or an excitement for the content, in this case he was to hard to understand for that to come through. I spent most of the time trying to get past his accents.

    Any additional comments?

I would recommend this book for someone to read but not listen to.

One of the best-known stories in American culture, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has stirred the imagination of young and old alike for over 100 years. Best Actress nominee Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married, Alice In Wonderland), fresh from filming one of this year’s most anticipated films, The Dark Knight Rises, lends her voice to this uniquely American fairy tale.

Where does The Wonderful Wizard of Oz rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was by far the best narration I have listened to. Anne Hathaway does a spectacular job performing this book.

What does Anne Hathaway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Anne Hathaway doesn't read the story she performs this classic story. As she narrates the story comes to life with her voices and tone.

Truly a stand apart performance for a great story!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

As Anne Hathaway read she sucked me in and I couldn't stop listening. Whether I could listen for 5 min. or for hours I didn't want to stop she immediately sucked me into the story.

What disappointed you about Jay Abraham - World's Leading Marketing Expert Talks About 'Passion'?

I am sure that the information would have been good, but the recording was so bad that you couldn't hear what they had to say. I thought it might have been my download so I tried re-downloading it and still can't hear what they are saying.

Would you be willing to try another one of Janet Attwood’s performances?

No. I would be worried it was just as bad a recording!!!
