I enjoyed the notions presented, the positive outlook, and the authors committment.
This is my first listen
One man's view of the world
I'm not sold on the author's theories. He leaves a lot of room between here's a notion and here's how it plays out in the real world. It feels like there's a lot he's not saying. That's not to say that there aren't things to be gained from the book.
Need to know
A book like "Made to Stick' or 'Outliers' or 'Tipping Point." These books actually provide information that is usuable immediately and that you can listen to more than once and learn and books that I would purchase in hard copy to use as a reference.
An actual point to the book instead of a loose collection of ramblings about words.
I'm listening to "Quiet" right now.
The pronunciations of some of the words.
Nearly all of it.
The only reason I listened to it was to see if an actual point was ever made--none ever was made.
