First I need to say that the narrator was incredible, he is the only reason I finished the book. The characters were well developed and interesting but I kept waiting for something to happen and it just goes on and on. It is really an autobiography jazzed up a little to make it more interesting. I got a little tired of PK always being so "smart" and "right" about everything. Don't really understand the high rating for the story line by other people. Anyway if you want a book you can't stop listening to this probably is not the best choice.

Acclaimed author Michael J. Sullivan created instant best sellers with his spellbinding Riyria Revelations series. This first volume introduces Royce Melborn and Hadrian Blackwater, two enterprising thieves who end up running for their lives when they’re framed for the death of the king. Trapped in a conspiracy bigger than they can imagine, their only hope is unraveling an ancient mystery - before it’s too late.

What a great series!! It's a complex story with very likeable characters who come to life with believable emotions and lots of humor. Plenty of twists and turns that keep you very interested for many, many hours. I was sorry when Volume 3 ended.
I Loved the narrator, very talented!

This highlander story has been written multiple times using different names. Same old, same old.
The narrators imitation of a sexy voice is really creepy!

Always leave a little salt on the bread. Ikey Solomon's favorite saying is also his way of doing business, and in the business of thieving he's very successful indeed. Ikey's partner in crime is his mistress, the forthright Mary Abacus, until misfortune befalls them. They are parted and each must make the harsh journey from thriving nineteenth century London to the convict settlement of Van Diemen's Land.

This book tells of the life of two main characters, their struggles, character growth, strength and endurance through great hardship. Survival in a tough brutal life and the opportunity to start fresh in a new land. It is very well written and the narration is superb. A very entertaining journey. I have purchased the next book and will continue the story in book 2

Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It's the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

I very much enjoyed this audio book. The narrators were excellent, it was great having four ladies with very different voices reading the parts. The story was not the kind of plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat but rather you became friends with the characters and really felt an interest in their lives. I listen to audio books when I drive and this book really ate up the miles. Thank you Kathryn Stockett.
