What did you love best about The Ringworld Engineers?

It seemed to pick up perfectly from where the last book left you, and leaves you ready for the next.

    Any additional comments?

After having read all the ringworld books it is great to see them come to audio. It makes the drive to and from work enjoyable.

Would you listen to Tunnel in the Sky again? Why?

I will listen to it again. The characters voices come alive and are not just a casual read of the story. Well done!

What did you like best about this story?

After having read the book 10+ times over the years, it was an unexpected pleasure to find it in audio, and even more enjoyable that the performances were so true to the book and what I felt they should have been.

    Any additional comments?

A great listen for teens starting to get into sci-fi of Heinlein's youth based works and for his fans in general.

Mercenary soldiers in the service of the Lady, the Black Company stands against the rebels of the White Rose. They are tough men, proud of honoring their contracts. The Lady is evil, but so, too, are those who falsely profess to follow the White Rose, reincarnation of a centuries-dead heroine. Yet now some of the Company have discovered that the mute girl they rescued and sheltered is truly the White Rose reborn. Now there may be a path to the light, even for such as they. If they can survive it.

Some feel the Lady, newly risen from centuries in thrall, stands between humankind and evil. Some feel she is evil itself. The hardbitten men of the Black Company take their pay and do what they must, burying their doubts with their dead - until the prophesy: The White Rose has been reborn, somewhere, to embody good once more. There must be a way for the Black Company to find her....

If you like swords, wizards, magic, and a good story line you won't be disapointed. I read the books years ago and was always hoping someone would do an audio version. Marc Vietor did a excellent read and I think caught the book and characters flavor nicely.
