    • UNABRIDGED (7 hrs and 35 mins)
    • By Lexi Blake, Shayla Black
    • Narrated By Serena Daniels
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Brothers Gavin, Slade, and Dex fall hard for Gavin's new secretary, beautiful Hannah Craig. Once alone with her, none of them can contain their burning desire.

NEW NAME says: "Kind of fell flat :-("
    "Boring waste of time"
What disappointed you about Their Virgin Captive?

The narrator, story or lack thereof. I was hoping for something darkly raunchy and it didn't offer any of it

What was most disappointing about Lexi Blake and Shayla Black ’s story?

Lack of flow, it just didn't flow smoothly and didn't engage your senses at all. I couldn't finish it

What didn’t you like about Serena Daniels’s performance?

Not enough emotion, passion etc and for essentially a male driven book the mens voices from her just didn't do it for me

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Nope I didn't even make it halfway through, just couldn't concentrate on it as it had nothing to hold my interest

  • Scream for Me: A Novel of the Night Hunter

    • UNABRIDGED (12 hrs and 16 mins)
    • By Cynthia Eden
    • Narrated By Emily Beresford
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

They were only supposed to have a professional relationship, but FBI agent Kyle McKenzie has been fantasizing about his sexy partner, Cadence Hollow, from the moment they first met. It takes the darkest case of their careers to finally bring their hidden desire bubbling to the surface. Once they’re in each other’s arms, though, they swear that nothing short of death will part them.

Michelle says: "ok but not fantastic"
    "ok but not fantastic"
If you could sum up Scream for Me in three words, what would they be?

    Average but entertaining

Would you recommend Scream for Me to your friends? Why or why not?

No as while the story was interesting the constand use of SOB was very very annoying. There are far more things you can call somebody then son of a bitch and it was annoying that it semed to be everyone in the books favorite insult.I also didnt like the leading man, just a personal dislike nothing really glaringly obvious for me to dislike

What about Emily Beresford’s performance did you like?

    Good performance

  • The Warlord Wants Forever

    • UNABRIDGED (3 hrs and 58 mins)
    • By Kresley Cole
    • Narrated By Hagan Verret, Simone Fomhar
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Nikolai Wroth, once a ruthless human warlord in the 1700s and now a general in the rebel vampire army, needs to find his bride, the one woman who can render him truly alive. As a turned human, he doesn’t enjoy a heartbeat or breathing and is consequently weaker than fully blooded vampires. He wants his bride for the power she will bring him and can hardly believe it when his heart beats for Myst the Coveted, a mad, fey, mythological creature. Myst is known throughout the world as the most beautiful Valkyrie, part chillingly fierce warrior, part beguiling seductress....

    Amazon Customer says: "Big Disappointment"
"Great book not so great narrators"
Where does The Warlord Wants Forever rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Very high as I adore all of Kresley Coles books but really would have preffered if Rpobert Petkoff had narrated this one as well

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Warlord Wants Forever?

Hmmmm to many good bits to chose!

Have you listened to any of Hagan Verret and Simone Fomhar ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

All of Kresleys books make you laugh, moan and sometimes cry.

    Any additional comments?

Kresleys books hold the right amount of passion, humour and action for my liking. I love the fantasy world she has created in these books and the way they tye together so well. Brilliant books and I can't wait for more!

  • My Bluegrass Baby

    • UNABRIDGED (5 hrs and 28 mins)
    • By Molly Harper
    • Narrated By Amanda Ronconi
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Sadie Hutchins loves her job at the Kentucky Tourism Commission. Not only could her co-workers double as the cast of Parks and Recreation, but she loves finding the unusual sites, hidden gems, and just-plain-odd tourist attractions of her home state. She’s a shoo-in for the director’s job when her boss retires at the end of the year…until hotshot Josh Vaughn shows up to challenge her for the position. Josh is all sophisticated polish while Sadie’s country comfort, and the two have very different ideas of what makes a good campaign.

Diana Turmenne says: "Made me want to visit Kentucky!"
    "Good but not her best"
Where does My Bluegrass Baby rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

I adore her performance, her tone for the sarcasm etc makes it enjoyable to listen to

    Any additional comments?

I've listened to all of Molly Harpers books on Audible and this one is the only one I just couldn't get into. I love all her others.

  • Lolita

    • UNABRIDGED (11 hrs and 27 mins)
    • By Vladimir Nabokov
    • Narrated By Jeremy Irons

Savagely funny and hauntingly sad, Lolita is Nabokov's most famous and controversial novel. It is the story of tortured college professor Humbert Humbert and his dangerous obsession with honey-skinned schoolgirl Dolores Haze.

    Jefferson says: "Disturbingly Wonderful"

A very interesting storyline and well worth a listen. I did enjoy it and I adore Jeremy Irons being the narrator BUT I found he was talking a bit to fast for my liking so I felt I missed some bits and had to rewind and listen closely.

    Still I would recommend it

  • Lightning

    • UNABRIDGED (12 hrs and 58 mins)

A storm struck on the night Laura Shane was born, and there was a strangeness about the weather that people would remember for years. But even more mysterious was the blond-haired stranger who appeared out of nowhere - the man who saved Laura from a fatal delivery. Barry says: "One of Koontz' best, entirely enjoyable."

  • Heart of a Warrior

    • UNABRIDGED (10 hrs and 17 mins)
    • By Johanna Lindsey
    • Narrated By Laural Merlington
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Brittany Callaghan thinks she's dreaming when a blond, nearly seven-feet-tall Nordic god shows up on her doorstep in her tiny California town. He claims to be a barbarian warrior in need of her help. Though a stunning, statuesque beauty herself, intelligent and independent Brittany has struggled hard to earn respect in a man's world. She is taken aback when Dalden, a spectacular Viking who is a long way from home, needs her help - and is willing to pay for it.

Anneliese says: "Not the beginning of the trio"

Well I wish I had listened to the reviews. Not in the slightest what I was expecting. I found the plot rather boring and the main girl half the time acting tough and half the time acting like a southern belle who will faint at the drop of a hat :(
Narration was good EXCEPT for our main man which yes she very very much makes him sound like a robot.

Sadly I wish I hadn't wasted the money buying this one or the time listening to it
