The tones and accents of most conversations in this book make no sense at all. I just csn't believe they let this one get out as is. While the narrative of J. Charles is good, all hell breaks loose when he does voices, each of them more stupid than the other. What is the process of recording such a book? Isn't there a director that guides the reader on how to read the story? This rendition is way too cartoonish for Clancy material, every voices are exagerated to the point of being disturbing and that is not counting the tones that does not at all match most (if not all) situations.
On a technical point, I do not think adding pauses between scenes would have been that costly. The story itself felt rushed due to the lack of such pauses during the reading but I do not think this is the reader's fault... well not always.
All in all, awsome story, terrible directions...
