    Story

Margaret Cho has a way of disarming her audience, dismantling preconceptions, and delivering punchlines that sting with wit and veracity. She derives much of her material from her upbringing as a second generation Korean American in San Francisco.

Jo says: "Warning! I nearly crashed my car over this one"
    "Good Fun!!"
    Overall

Margrete Cho's act is devine. It is a great bit that I listen to over and over. Great listening.

Following his two New York Times best sellers, Brain Droppings and Napalm & Silly Putty, comes George Carlin's third audiobook, When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops?, a riotous journey through the mind of one of America's premiere comic observers.

    Dana Wolfe says: "Wonderful!"
    "Great listening"
    Overall

Who does not like George Carlin? The guy is the master of cynocism and counter culture. I really like the bits (several) on political correctness and how silly it is. One has to ask: What are we trying to prove or accomplish?

I was surprise that he did not do a bit on kids in little league that are not allowed to be out. That would hurt their feelings. We can't have that!!

Jon Stewart, host of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning The Daily Show, and his coterie of patriots deliver a hilarious look at American government.

Connie says: "Runs hot and cold..but when it's hot...it's hot"
    "FANTASTIC"
    Overall

This has to be the funniest thing I have ever listened to. From start to finish, John's sense of humor and style keeps thing moving along. Any student of American or Political history wil howl at the contents of this book. I highly recommend to everyone!!

Ellen DeGeneres published her first book of comic essays, the #1 best selling My Point...and I Do Have One, way back in 1996. Not one to rest on her laurels, the witty star of stage and screen has since dedicated her life to writing a hilarious new book. That book is this audiobook.

Heidi says: "Ellen's latest book- The Funny Thing Is..."
    "Just not funny"
    Overall

I normally like Ellen's humor, but I struggled to find anything funny in this entire book. It was just not funny!!

Finally, answers to all those strange questions you'd like to ask your own doctor but haven't had the guts (or more likely the time) to do so.

Dr. Jim Rudd says: "Can't recommend"
"Banter just does not make it"
    Overall

I loved the actual contect part of the book, why things are. It is just the senseless banter between the two writers that makes the book difficult to listen to.
