Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

This book was suggested by a friend and I really don't think she gets me. :) Writing was not bad but the story was slow and a little too "harlequin" for my tastes.

Good subplots on family and your own identity within a "big brother" type of story.

Based on hundreds of interviews with the people who lived the story, Game Change is a reportorial tour de force that reads like a fast-paced novel. Character driven and dialogue rich, replete with extravagantly detailed scenes, this is the occasion-ally shocking, often hilarious, ultimately definitive account of the campaign of a lifetime.

I like history; specifically Presidential biographies and this book was a great read on such a "new" historical presidential race. Can't wait to see what history proves.
