Nora Sutherlin is in handcuffs, held captive by two men. Under different circumstances, she would enjoy the situation immensely, but her captors aren't interested in play. As the reality of her impending peril unfolds, Nora becomes Scheherazade, buying each hour of her life with stories - sensual tales. This, Nora realizes, is her life: nothing so simple, so vanilla, as a mere love triangle for her. It's a knot in a silken cord, a tangled mass of longings of the body and the heart and the mind. And it may unravel at any moment.

What made the experience of listening to The Mistress the most enjoyable?

I LOVE Tiffany Reisz's books. She's an excellent story teller and her characters are complex, but fun to follow.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

This narrator was horrid. She confused her French and English accents so that certain characters were incomprehensible (particularly the editor's wife, who is supposed to be British but ended up sounding like characature of a Transylvanian vampire).

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Loved the book itself.

    Any additional comments?

Come on audible, either get narrators who can do accents well or have the narrators skip the accent entirely. You're ruining great books this way.

Psychotherapists and sleep specialists Jennifer and Jill, the dynamic "girlfriends" all of Hollywood calls on to solve Junior's sleep problems, have perfected their sleep technique that will get any child snoozing in no time - most often in fewer than three nights. The key to their method? It addresses the emotional needs of both the parent and the child (yes, how to handle the crying!) - a critical component of why most other sleep methods fail.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This is closer to Cry It Out than I would have liked but the tips they provide about desired schedule, preparing for bed and getting the sleeps space just right made a big difference without even getting to the CIO part. I asked my pediatrician before I tried this and the minute I mentioned sleep, she suggested this book (I had alread bought and listened to 2/3rds of it). The first night wasn't as rough as I feared and every night since has been a breeze. As suggested, I adapted it to what I thought would work best for me and my baby and didn't do the entire program exactly as recommended. However, I'm sleeping a little bit more and my baby is sleeping A LOT more. I miss comforting him every night, but I really believe he wasn't getting as much sleep as his little developing self probably needed before.

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem.

Where does How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Witty & Fun. I listen to this one over and over again. Love this book and the next one in the series. Can't wait for the third. The narrator is awesome and the story is great. I highly recommend it.
