What did you like best about Orphanage? What did you like least?

I loved the stories and the characters; however, I won't buy the series from Audible because the narrator, Adam Epstein.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It sounded as though he was trying to sound like John Wayne. It was very distracting.

Spearpoint, the last human city, is an atmosphere-piercing spire of vast size. Clinging to its skin are the zones, a series of semi-autonomous city-states, each of which enjoys a different---and rigidly enforced---level of technology. Following an infiltration mission that went tragically wrong, Quillon has been living incognito, working as a pathologist in the district morgue.

What would have made Terminal World better?

This book was so disappointing. It just ended abruptly. You don't really learned much about the world where the characters lived. No why's or how's or closure. The main character was bland and uninteresting. I kept hoping that he'd get more interesting but I didn't really care if he lived or died during the finale of the book. I didn't care about any of the characters, even the child.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Now the number-one New York Times best-selling author delivers the fifth book in his spellbinding landmark series - as both familiar faces and surprising new forces vie for a foothold in a fragmented empire.

Would you try another book from George R. R. Martin and/or Roy Dotrice?

The voices that the narrator uses for the characters aren't consistent from the other books in the series. He makes young girls sound like old crones.

What did you like best about this story?

Following the story through the series of books is so enjoyable. I am so vested in the lives of the characters.

Would you be willing to try another one of Roy Dotrice’s performances?

    NO!

Do you think A Dance with Dragons needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, I would love to find out what happens in the future.
