Rebecca De Leeuw has now become my favorite narrator. She is masterful in this performance.
I was as captivated by this book as I was by Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale. High praise indeed!
Ms. De Leeuw drew me into the book in the first few minutes.
Absolutely! I had to pull myself away from it in order to do things like, go to work!
I found this book title on a list of the 10 best historical romances, a list that included Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice! I immediately bought the audio book and found upon listening that I had read the book before. I loved Steve West's performance. It made a book that I slightly remembered into one that I will not forget. It WAS a fantastic story!
I found the narrator to be very compelling, therefore, the story came to life through his narration.
I loved the scene at the race course at the end of the book.
I love the romantic scenes in books and this one had several.
I have read books by Ms. Lindsay before and enjoyed them. I am not sure how much of an effect the narrator had on my opinion. I really disliked the narration!
No, I would not.
This was a book where I really didn't like either the hero or the heroine!
This book was certainly not for me. I don't know who would enjoy reading it. It is extremely graphic!
The very pornographic sex scenes!
I have enjoyed other Maya Banks books. I just did not enjoy this one at all.
I have already listened to it more than once! Nicholas Boulton's performance is a masterpiece! I am generally inclined to stay away from male narrators, but Mr. Boutlon is in a class of his own!
I loved his performance of Christian. The halting speech, his very struggle, is clear in Mr. Boulton's performance.
I cannot rave enough about this book!
