J.M. Barrie's classic tale, completely unabridged, features a boy who refuses to grow up, Tinker Bell the fairy, and the Darling children: Wendy, John, and Michael. Their great adventure begins on the night that Peter flies into the Darling home looking for his shadow and teaches Wendy, John, and Michael how to fly with him back to Neverland, where adventures happen every day.

Tim Curry is perfect as the narrator. We've listened to this 100 times and never get tired of it. It's a real work of art, so much better than the movie of our childhoods.

This superb collection of larger-than-life folk heroes aptly represents America's robust early days, perfectly capturing the vitality of the men and women who carved a new country out of the North American wilderness. Author Mary Pope Osborne supplies a fascinating introduction to each tale and then gives her own original twist to the telling of it.

"Oscar Wilde's Fairy Tales continue to exert the same pull over the imagination and emotions as they did when he first read them to his children in the 1880s. Written with inspired poetic intensity and sudden flowerings of the matchless wit for which he is so well remembered, the stories combine the wisdom of parables with the impact of drama."

    Jennifer says: "Unexpected"
    "Fantastic for the whole family!"

These stories are fabulous for trips, sparking lots of family conversations. Stephen Fry is terrific as the haughty miller!

    "Beautiful story"
    Overall

We use audio books to pass the time on long car trips with our 6-year-old daughter, and Tuck Everlasting was perfect for our recent trip to Massachusetts. Our daughter loved the sweet story, the great characters, the vivid writing. She really saw what was happening -- and so did we. I remembered this book fondly from when I was a kid and was thrilled to share it with our daughter.
