Love Kleypas and Landor!
Always! But This Heroine was frustrating and bland... Hero came off as a brute.. not even a likeable brute :-) Ending was lackluster... I always judge a good book by asking if I would read/listen to it again... this one was a no... but it wasn't bad or awful.. just average
yes , but this book just didn't have the same intensity of the first book.. but I do like Elena and Raphael and their story.. It's ok .. not great but not bad..
yes, the trilogy is a fun one.. all the characters and story lines have depth and dimension. The heroine Violet frustrated me at the ending of the book but it ended well... well worth reading and continuing the trilogy... Loved the Duke :-)
no... The characters were ok but I didn't care what happened to them... they were flat. the story carried well until the ending.. it was flat too... blah
Johnson had great accents! very well performed and easy listening voice... will listen to her again
characters one dimensional.. not worth a credit! Story not even believable nor did I care about the characters...
more depth to characters and a more complex story
I love Kleypas! but this is not her best story or even characters...
Kleypas is a great romance writer... unique stories and great characters
not the worst! but as far as story, plot, characters is ok... The Hero is worth the listen... heroine chould of had more depth...
It took a while for me to even care about the heroine or the hero.... so it dragged until the second half when the story line picked up.. I did enjoy it and the second book is proving to be worth it!
It's ok.. she moves pretty fast though... but her accent in genuine and easy to listen to
Kit! Kit! Kit!
Eliza was to relatable and sweet! Kit was dreamy and the story had a great ending with Lancelot... maybe his story will be next???
yes, not as good as the other 2... this heroine is beyond frustrating! Exhausting really but worth listening to for the Earl! yummy!
