I read a lot and have enjoyed many books but this one has to be in my top 10. It was the most exciting book I've read since The Hunger Games Trilogy. Can't wait for the next in the series. And I'm 51 years old.

I laughed through out and got teary eyed at the end. Ms. Flagg always make me laugh.
I had a hard time with the main character, Sookie, as she lets her mother walk all over her. She grows as the story progresses and she grew on me. However, sometimes I just wanted to shake her and tell her to grow a spine.
No but as a mom who spends a lot of time in the car, it was a great way to get to enjoy it.

Had read the original book as a teen. Loved it then but got so much more out of it now that I'm in my 50's. Thought passages put back in made it a better book.
