Six years ago, Lucy Kincaid was attacked and nearly killed by an online predator. She survived. Her attacker did not. Now Lucy’s goal is to join the FBI and fight cyber-crime, but in the meantime, she’s volunteering with a victim’s rights group, surfing the Web undercover to lure sex offenders into the hands of the law. But when the predators she hunts start turning up as murder victims, the FBI takes a whole new interest in Lucy.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you've read the other books written by Allison Brennan you might enjoy this one as well.

What was most disappointing about Allison Brennan’s story?

I kept feeling like I was missing a huge chunk of the story. This says it's book one but I think she may worked with these characters before. The writing was a bit schmaltzy.

Have you listened to any of Ann Marie Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Ann Marie Lee was great. I enjoyed her performance.

A decade ago, Claire Byrne, now thirty-two, put her biggest career aspirations and deepest personal desires on hold when she became the wife of Charlie Byrne, the famous sexologist and man about town. Equal parts Alfred Kinsey and Warren Beatty, Charlie is charming yet pompous, supportive yet unfaithful, a firm believer that sex and love can’t coexist. When Charlie is killed one day, in an absurd sidewalk collision with a falling sculpture (a Giacometti, no less!), his death turns Claire’s world upside down.

Would you try another book from Carole Radziwill and/or Carole Radziwill?

I wanted to really like this book but it wasn't very fun and it tried too hard.

Would you ever listen to anything by Carole Radziwill again?

    Maybe.

Would you be willing to try another one of Carole Radziwill’s performances?

No! She should not have read this book. An outside narrator would have been so much better.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Parts were cute and it went by quickly.

Mary Alice Brannigan doesn’t believe in the supernatural. Nor does she expect to find that Dreamland, the decaying amusement park she’s been hired to restore, is a prison for the five Untouchables, the most powerful demons in the history of the world. Plus, there’s a guy she’s falling hard for, and there’s something about him that’s not quite right.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was my least favorite Cruisie book. The characters were flat as was the story. It just didn't work for me. I don't mind the supernatural elements but the story as a whole seemed like an afterthought.

Has Wild Ride turned you off from other books in this genre?

I will continue to listen to other Jennifer Cruisie books. I have enjoyed all of her others!

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator does a good job but the characters don't have enough depth to give her much to work with.

Could you see Wild Ride being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Wild Ride might be a better TV show then it was a book.
