Right there at the top.
There were so many... I laughed, I cried, I felt compassion and most of all I began to understand.
If you are at a point in your life where you are searching because nothing seems to make sense anymore, I would highly recommend this audiobook. It is my first listen to Jack Kornfield and I will go back for more. Definitely a life changer for me. I feel like I am finally on the right path.
I put off listening to this book because I thought it would break my heart. My little dog is nearing her end and I am having a tough time facing it. Fully expecting a tear jerker, I pressed "play."
Wow was I ever wrong! Well, it does tug at the heartstrings, but in a good way. I always suspected that dogs have a sense of humor and Enzo proved it. Good dog, Enzo!
I listened on my computer with the speaker volume up, so that I could hear the story while working around the house. At one point I walked by my old dog, Zoe, who was laying on her bed. Her ears were up, listening, eyes wide and focused and I'm pretty sure she was enjoying the book too. If she could talk, she would give the story 5 paws up.
This is one of the best audio books in my library and I will listen again and again.
I loved every part of this story, but the ending was wonderful.
One of the best and most convincing performances I have experienced in an audio book.
I couldn't stop listening. At first I was a little tentative, but as the store progressed I couldn't turn it off.
The characters were well built and the story line was good. It kept me interested to the end.
Bosch, of course, but all were good. He did an excellent job of changing voices for the different characters, giving them each a distinctive personality.
I am a Michael Connelly fan. This was one of his best...well thought out, good follow through and very believable characters.
Probably not. Began with some interesting facts, but after awhile it became tedious. I felt like I should have been taking notes.
Delivery was good.
