This book is a Must Have in any library. I have a huge library at home. I worked in some of the finest restaurants in my area. If I had to keep only one book on nutrition, this would be it. Coming from 414 lbs, I know. I've tried everything. Then my sister gave me what I thought was just another book that may contain some help. Ultra-Metabolism is dynamite! It will change how you look at food. Don't waste money on gimmicks. This is it.
This book is the knowledge.. And will attest: the human body craves real nutrition, real water, and needs to move.
Another book I suggest, especially if you are a fan of his, is Sylvester Stallone's 'Sly Moves'; which I feel has more than just the motivation from his life experience, but a real direction. Mr. Stallone understands from experience, there is no easy way to loose weight and keep it off. Hear how he had to train for his movies..and what he learned about dieting and nutrition. Why this one? Look at his results. They speak for themselves.
Now I have a plan on How to move it. Walking and modest Weight training with proper nutrition.
If you are serious, start caring what you buy to eat. Then cut portions. Then stay hydrated and exercise starting slowly. Make exercise fun, like easy Tai Chi, biking, swimming.. and if done modestly at first it will be rewarding.
But Check with your doctor first. Get a good weigh in. Then free your self from dieting and eat healthy! Your body...You deserve it! You can do it!
I love Audible's books on Longfellow, Keats, and the Classic 100. But this one stands alone to me. Winters are long here, and this work is wonderful to listen to anywhere. The narrating is done very well, and you will come back to this recording again and again.
I write poetry myself, and I enjoy the well known authors and even the seldom heard works like "The Way of Wood" will appeal to any one who burns firewood, as it tells of the different uses and characteristics of different wood.
It is August, and I confess I've been listening to this one already...again.
At 414 pounds, I needed help. My health was failing. I worked in some of the finest restaraunts in my area. I can cook. All too well.

This book contains enough motivation to get you to hit the ground running! Learn from one of the most physically fit men in Hollywood, the secret about dieting.
You owe it to yourself to get the Right Information and the Right Motivation. I've tried them all. I have an extensive library. I suggest this book to all my friends.
There is another book I'd like to suggest as well. It's called Ultra-Metabolism. I'm using both of them to change the way I even look, or buy food.. the way I will continue to exercise.
If you are fan, I think you will love this book.
If you never saw even one of his films (you need to..haha) This book will inspire you. If you need to loose weight and feel better about yourself, this book may be just what you've been looking for.
