I liked the book for its real storyline but thought it to be too sad for my liking.
There is alot of feeling and not enough action for me.
I don't think Marcinko could write a bad book. Once again action from begining to end with no sensless emotion to get you down.
Keep them coming.
Action from begining to end. Tricky Dick has done it again.
My only dissapointment is that is a short story, but all Richard Marcinko books are.
I cannot say enough about this listen. It never failed to amaze. These true accounts of the pioneering Marine scout snipers makes me proud to be an American. I'm a better person for have herd it.
A fantastic story with true accounts of the bravery and heroism of our "give all and ask for nothing" elite american soldiers. A good action listen that left me urning for more.
Great listen! Great narration! Good action throughout, not bogged down by over dramatized emotion anywhere in the story. Kept me wanting more all the way thru.
This book gets 3 stars from me because it talks alot more politics and policy than true grit. I'm like more of a small unit day to day operations listener and this book doesn't cover alot of that. I think it would be a good listen for folks that like a "big picture" type story.
But thats just my opinion.
