This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you love the TV show like I do, then book is not for you. The characters and the storyline is very strange and they hold no relation to the TV show. The show is loosley based on the books, but the writers amde it better.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Just finished The Secret Circle, Volume one and my next listen will probally be either Dracula or Love Unscripted.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Rebecca Mozo?

As this was the fourth book in the series, I thought that I might get use to her narration, but I did not. She tries too hard and at time I fund her rendition of the book a bit irrating. The lady that narrated The Secret Circle, volume one would be a much better fit to this book.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment mostly as I am absolutely obsessed with the TV Show. The books are not very good.

    Any additional comments?

Stick to the TV show, if you are a fan and rather listen to the Vampire Academy.

Would you listen to The Secret Circle, Volume I: The Initiation again? Why?

Probally not, but it was still a very good listen.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It ended on a cliffhanger that makes you want to purchase the next volume. Only bought the book because of the ending of the TV show and I had to find out if Cassie and Adam will be together. Guess I have to listen to the next volume to find out...........but I cannot seem to find it on Audible.

What does Devon Sorvari bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does a really good job with the book, but I think that viewing the TV show first assisted me in liking the book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really, but I am a sucker for a good old fashioned love triangle!

    Any additional comments?

Any help in finding Volume 2 of the series would be appreciated.

Yes on both accounts. She does extremely well with all of the different accents in the book.

If you’ve listened to books by L. J. Smith before, how does this one compare?

As I have only read the Vampire Diaries series from him, they are all very similar.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Rebecca Mozo?

    Yes, she is really good!

Did The Vampire Diaries, Book 3 inspire you to do anything?

Yes, to read the next book in the series.

    Any additional comments?

Good book, sometimes just difficult to not mix the story in the book up with the story on TV.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fifty Shades Freed to be better than the print version?

I have read both and they are pretty similar. It depends if you have time, but would then rather read the printed version.

What did you like best about this story?

The epic love story in the middle of all of the crazy stuff.

    Which scene was your favorite?

There are too many to choose from.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she saw little blip for the first time. As this hit really close to home it almosthad me in tears.

    Any additional comments?

This series although not really written in proper language, is still one of the best I have read.

What did you like best about The Marriage Bargain? What did you like least?

It is really an epic love story with all of the cheezie things that go along with it. I was not crazy about the narrater.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

It was a little bit predictable, but will not change it one bit.

What aspect of Coleen Marlo’s performance would you have changed?

Her tone could vary a bit more and sje could read it with a bit more emotion.

Could you see The Marriage Bargain being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No, because there is a lot of movies and TV seriesses with the exact same story line.

Would you listen to Fifty Shades Darker again? Why?

Yes, as this for me was the best book of the three.

What other book might you compare Fifty Shades Darker to and why?

You cannot really compare this book to any other as this issomething completely different. This book can be seen as one of those epic love stories, but with a twist.

Which character – as performed by Becca Battoe – was your favorite?

Christian Grey.......although I was not really fond of her accent when reading Christian's lines.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when Christian fell down onto his knees and wanted to be Ana's submissive. The whole conversation that took place was really well written and this really grabbed my attention.

    Any additional comments?

Really good book and I will listen to the entire series again and again.

Where does Fifty Shades of Grey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This audiobook is probally in the top three that I have listened to in the past.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades of Grey?

Most memorable was when Christian flew to see Anna when she visited her mom and he took her gliding!

What does Becca Battoe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I read the book first and then decided to listen to the audiobook as well, so she did not really add anything new.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Laters Baby..........

    Any additional comments?

This really is a good book, but the actual book might be a better read than the audiobook.
