Would you listen to Creole Belle again? Why?

JLB writes stories with such depth. What I love most about his books are the history that he writes about. It’s wonderful to be able to in vision the sights, smells and feel as though your right in the middle of things. A word about the narrator, Will Patton, OMG why does that guy not read every audible book out there? I could listen to him forever. His voice is like silk across your body. He knows how to use his voice to command his words. Love him. Wonderful listen.

What does Will Patton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His masterful voice with all its inflection and tone, to make it sound as if you are right there. This would not be a best seller in my mind if it were not for Will Patton.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have a job that makes it possible for me to listen to books, I will not put this one down.

That’s the critical question facing Odd Thomas, the young man with a unique ability to commune with restless spirits and help them find justice and peace. But this time, it’s the living who desperately need Odd on their side. Three helpless innocents will be brutally executed unless Odd can intervene in time. Spencer Grant had no idea what drew him to the bar with the red door. He thought he would just sit down, have a slow beer or two, and talk to a stranger. He couldn't know that it would lead to a narrow escape from a bungalow targeted by a SWAT team. Or that it would leave him a wanted man. Now he is on the run from mysterious and ruthless men. He is in love with a woman he knows next to nothing about. And he is hiding from a past he can't fully remember.
