  • E-Myth Mastery: The Seven Essential Disciplines for Building a World Class Company

    • ABRIDGED (7 hrs and 29 mins)
    • By Michael E. Gerber
    • Narrated By Michael E. Gerber

Michael E. Gerber, the world's leading small business guru and best-selling author of the phenomenally successful The E-Myth Revisited, presents the next big step in entrepreneurial management and leadership with E-Myth Mastery. This audiobook presents a practical, real-world program that can be implemented in real-time in your business.

    Victor says: "Very Disappointing"
"Honestly Bad and a Waste of Time"

I heard the first book to this series "the E-myth" and found it inspiring. I hope to learn more about the details and implementation of the teachings but this book does not do any of that. It just has a name that make you think you will get those details. It just repeats what was said in "the e-myth" book, only in a much less specific but much more annoying way, to the point you just have to give up wasting your time.

After 1-2 hour and into Chapter 6, the book is still convincing you to change without telling you how to do it.

This book is a waste of time if you have already read/heard "the e-myth", and DO NOT expect this book to tell you how to master the skills to become a world class business.

I guess the first step is to acquire the ability to identify the bad signs as early as possible, so to minimize the loss of energy and time to the least.

    A complete disappointment.

  • On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft

    • UNABRIDGED (8 hrs and 5 mins)
    • By Stephen King
    • Narrated By Stephen King

The prolific, perennially best selling author recounts his early life and writing struggles, gives advice on the crucial aspects of the writing art, and talks about his much-publicized, near-fatal accident.

    Bill says: "Excellent!"
"Honest and moving memoir + simple tips on writing"

I am never a fan of stephen king. In fact, I read one of his books and decided that I will never read another. But this one is "on writing", a topic I am very interested in plus the review of other buyers are good so I gave it a try. It turned out to be such a good listen. Memoirs of the writer interwined with useful tips on how to start and improve one's writing. I turned from a non-fan to someone who gave high respect for Mr. King. This is a book that is written with ulmost honesty and sincerity. The memoir parts are moving with tears and laughters. I have the urge to call my struggling to write friends to stop and listen. Highly recommended

  • Advice on Dying: And Living a Better Life

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 1 min)
    • By His Holiness the Dalai Lama
    • Narrated By Jeffrey Hopkins

"Everyone dies, but no one is dead," goes the Tibetan saying. It is with these words that Advice on Dying takes flight. Using a 17th-century poem written by a prominent scholar-practitioner, His Holiness the Dalai Lama draws from a wide range of traditions and beliefs to explore the stages we all go through when we die, which are the very same stages we experience in life when we go to sleep, faint, or reach orgasm (Shakespeare's "little death").

Amazon Customer says: "Thoughts on Dying"
    "Helps me feel more calm"

Not a lot to learn from, but the simple theories and teaching does help. My paradigm shifted overnight after reading the book, helps me see the world in a whole new light. Good sound quality and easy to grasp in audio format.
