I have listened to this book multiple times and I have never even played the game! I love the narration by Stephen Hoye and the storyline itself. It is a wonderful light listen while going on about your day. I highly recommend it!!
While i understand the controversy over the author's failure to note exaggeration/falsification initially when releasing the book, I don't think that takes anything away from the brilliance of this book. The story is a wonderful look inside the life and mind of someone suffering from addiction. It portrays the characters and addicts, not as lifeless, morally inept monsters, but as the confused and struggling individuals they are. I personally believe this book should be required reading and survive the test of time to become an American classic.
this was a wonderfully written and performed account of the life and theological ideology of Bonhoeffer. As someone who studied some of Bonhoeffer's writings and Theology in Seminary, I was very impressed with the historical, cultural, and familial context the author delineated beside Bonhoeffer's ideas. I highly recommend this book to everyone!
This was my first book in the Oregon files series and i very much enjoyed it. Scot brick did an excellent job narrating and the stoey was very exciting. The plot slightly stretched reality a bit too far so I couldn't give it 5 stars but still a good listen.
Not my favorite cussler story. It was okay but i found myself getting bored a lot. For diehard cussler fans it is another chapter in the dirk pitt story but not an overly memorable one.
I really enjoyed this numa book. Scott Brick did another womderful job narrating. The story had plenty of action.
As a huge Star Wars fan, I read the overview and excitedly started listening to this book. Midway into it, the story just becomes ridiculous. It is atavistic and peurile writing at its worst. It was just plain stupid. The author disgraces the otherwise exemplary universe the Star Wars series has created.
