An innovative entrepreneur, outspoken nonconformist, and groundbreaking philanthropist, Ted Turner is truly a living legend, and now, for the first time, he reveals his personal story. From his difficult childhood to the successful launch of his media empire to the catastrophic AOL/Time Warner deal, Turner spares no details or feelings and takes the reader along on a wild and sometimes bumpy ride.

Would you consider the audio edition of Call Me Ted to be better than the print version?

Probably since you have the honor of listening to Ted Turner himself.

What other book might you compare Call Me Ted to and why?

" The Agony And The Ecstacy " since it takes you through the lows and highs of a man's life, the love in his life and almost excruciating trials and tribulations of arriving at his triumphant business deals, conquering what is almost supernatural/ superhuman, like Michaelangelo on the scaffolds at the Sistene Chapel, painting the famed frescos on the ceiling in Milan, Italy, for all of us to praise.

Have you listened to any of Ted Turner’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first, and I would not mind listening to it again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I believe his donation to the UN and starting CNN were the most riveting, encompassing, and most inspirational.

    Any additional comments?

I sure hope they make this into a movie.
