I have listened to all of Kate Morton's books and they are all equally excellent. Her ability to build characters, and move the listener/reader from the past to the present is superb. I would highly recommend her books to everyone.

After being jilted by her fiancé, Autumn Maguire uses her nonrefundable honeymoon tickets to explore Paris on her own. Eager to experience the true bohemian lifestyle, she answers an ad for an artist's model. But when she exchanges her clothes for the artist's lush red cloak, something strange happens.

    Overall

The narrator of this book has a wonderful, rich voice that I enjoyed listening to. However, the content of the book was far more sexually graphic than I was expecting. I ordered it because the premise sounded fun. A modern day woman is transported back to 18th century Paris and falls in love. The text had the characters going from one graphic sexual scene to another, with little else in between. If you enjoy listening to erotica than I suspect you would find this book entertaining. It was not to my taste and I chose not to listen to the 2nd part of the book.
