What did you love best about The Mirror of Her Dreams?

It has a theme of Romance running thru...it is about a young woman who finally discovers who she is.

What did you like best about this story?

The plot....the way Donaldson draws you in to a new world and the intricate plots and twists.

Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?

    He did a great job..

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When King Joyce finally admited what he had done...why he had done it...and the pain and joy actually made me cry at the moment. (oops...second book) Ok on this one....The heartbreak.... the way Teresa made a choice to be loyal...to follow and TRUST the one person who had been by her side. Everyone one else at this point had left her...as it had all of her life...

    Any additional comments?

This is a two book series. You must get the other one....This was well worth the credit paid...Very much so...and the speaker...great!!

Would you try another book from Gena Showalter and/or Savannah Richards?

Yes, I have read several of Gena Showalter and love most of the books...but this one was sooooo lacking. Men who enslave women to mindless nothings who just want sex. No tenderness...no nothing. Except if you were a mate. That sounds like hell to me. Even if I had the perfect man......I could not stand living in that environment. Not to mention you also are suppost to lose all will power. The story line sucked. I could not even force myself to listen to any more..... and I love a great romance....even a lukewarm romance...but this...nope.

What could Gena Showalter have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    It needed a story line.....It was more a man's dream ....a woman's hell

What does Savannah Richards bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The story was so bad....the voice didn't matter

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    ..........No

    Any additional comments?

I hate to be so harsh....normally I look a the reviewers and their comments....I may have to change who I am following because this was awful

What did you love best about The Witness?

How Liz or Abigail, grows. How she takes a risk..and makes herself strong

What did you like best about this story?

The fact she learned what love was. The fact Abigail turned herself into a very strong woman.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

    Her voice

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

We all have made mistakes when we were teenagers....Liz only had one...and it took her life.

The book started kinda slow....stick with it. It is well worth it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Growing up on the tough Philly streets, Gwen O'Neill has learned how to fend for herself. But what is she supposed to do with a nice, suburban Jersey boy in the form of a massive Grizzly shifter? Especially one with a rather unhealthy fetish for honey, moose, and…uh…well, her. Yet despite his menacing ursine growl and four-inch claws, Gwen finds Lachlan "Lock" MacRyrie cute and really sweet. He actually watches out for her, protects her, and unlike the rest of her out-of-control family manages not to morbidly embarrass her.

Where does The Mane Squeeze rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

about a 4. The story took a little while to get into. I really didn't like the narrator in the beginning but she grew on me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Gwen. She is trying to escape and be her own person away from her overbearing family. The way she is not looking for love but finds it anyway.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

More of a plot developed to kidnap/harm Gwen and how her Honey bear would handle it.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Instead of "Sugar Sugar" from the song...it would be "Honey Honey"

    Any additional comments?

Overall, I love the story line. The dynamics of the family was very funny.

No one, not even her family, knows that she cannot hear. Content with her life of seclusion, Eveline has taught herself to read lips and allows the outside world to view her as daft. But when an arranged marriage into a rival clan makes Graeme Montgomery her husband, Eveline accepts her duty -unprepared for the delights to come.

Where does Never Seduce a Scot rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the top romance stories I have listen to or read.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Never Seduce a Scot?

The point where Eveline speaks for the first time since her accident....or rathers screams.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voices....it is perfect. She handled the actors mood and tones great!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I love the point where she (Eveline) rescues Graeman, and the point where he discovers her missing and knows how much he loves her.

    Any additional comments?

It is a great story where the heroine has a disability and the hero admires her for overcoming and living in spite of it.

    Story
What made the experience of listening to Alpha and Omega the most enjoyable?

The narrator was very good. He even sounded like I imagine Charles would sound like. The heroine Anna was in a very bad situation and survived. Charles didn't "rescue" her as more along the lines of setting her free.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alpha and Omega?

When Anna understood exactly why she had been chosen and what exactly an Omega was.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Charles and Anna was in her apartment and he as a wolf curled up beside her.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It is a very short book because it leads into the rest of the series. You need to have this book first to go into the rest of the series.

    Any additional comments?

I love this series. It is well worth listening to.

Would you listen to A Man Rides Through again? Why?

Yes...to catch all the little things ....it is so interesting and entertaining. Several points in this second part....I cried. It was so moving...and not always in a good way...sorrow...pain...betrayal...self doubt...

What other book might you compare A Man Rides Through to and why?

Wow...hard one. I would have to say....Terry Goodkind series The sword of Truth...just not so many in a series and sweeter...not so depressing. Good VS Evil....Self discovery and the awkardness of a sexual pull to someone who is not good for you....and pulling away before you do something to hate yourself over!!

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have read the books...I actually own the books...I actually own all books that I buy with Audio...because If I really love a book...I want to also listen to it. The Auditor Scott Brick brings a deeper character to the book. He makes the People in the book come alive and has me review the way I was picturing them because of the nuance in the voices of the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

It was well worth the credit....but you have to get the first one Mirror of Her dreams or this one will not make sense....It make the story line flow with out a great repeat of what happened in the first book.

When it comes to the holidays, no story brings us back to the true spirit of giving like O. Henry’s classic "The Gift of the Magi". So this year we’ve asked some of your favorite Audible narrators—Audie Award winners Katherine Kellgren, Oliver Wyman, and Jonathan Davis—to bring to life this timeless tale, plus two more of O. Henry’s gems: "The Cop and the Anthem" and "The Last Leaf", in this holiday collection.

A lot of businessess cow down to the many who enjoy the holiday of Christmas but forget the meaning. This nation was founded BECAUSE our forefathers and mothers wanted the right to worship freely and not be ashamed or killed. I am proud that Audible offered this gift to their customers. It is something I can enjoy. Merry CHRISTmas to all.
