Infamous for satisfying his limitless wants and desires, Christopher is a free man again. And this time he’s on a mission to engage, deceive, and seduce the one woman as ruthless as he is when it comes to dangerous games of passion.… Far from innocent in the ways of men, Maria is one step ahead of Christopher’s every move. It doesn’t mean she isn’t enjoying every delicious look, every unbridled kiss, every moment of abandon. Neither of them could have imagined the moment when they would meet their match - or that they would surrender to each other again and again....

    Story
What did you love best about Passion for the Game?

The narrator is superb, in fact astonishing in her ability to voice so many different parts. Her sultry voice is perfect for the setting and enhances the story as it moves along.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Passion for the Game?

There are very tender moments between Maria and Simon that demonstrate their true care for each other while still being able to let go of each other. In particular, a bath tub scene but I will not divulge too much. Another moving part is when St. James finally professes his love for our heroine. This hardened popular pirate who never imagined that his feelings would ever involve loving a woman is brought to his knees (literally and figuratively) by his need and desire for Maria.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The ball where St. James had escorted the "fake" Maria and unfortunately the real Maria was also in attendance unbeknownst to him. The scene had perfectly executed comedy as well as well timed tension.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Passion and Desire only a Scoundrel can Ignite. Love only two can reveal.

    Any additional comments?

Very entertaining series. Ms. Day is truly royalty in the world of romantic/erotic/adventure literature.

Winner of a RITA, a National Readers’ Choice Award, the HOLT Medallion, and the Golden Quill, New York Times best-selling author Tracy Anne Warren is among the most acclaimed and popular Regency romance storytellers. In The Husband Trap, the reserved Lady Violet Brantford agrees to swap identities with her vivacious sister. Before she knows it, she’s married to the Duke of Raeburn, who finds himself pleasantly surprised with his charming new wife.

Where does The Husband Trap rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Top third.

What did you like best about this story?

This was waaaay better than I thought it was going to be. I could not stop listening.

Which character – as performed by Bianca Amato – was your favorite?

Adrian, the Duke. She captured a British peer's subtle humor and sometimes obtuse mannerisms in her portrayal.

If you could take any character from The Husband Trap out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The duke and his mama. Sounds like fun and I'm dying to see what this guy would look like in person. His description is fab. The twins-- not so much.

    Any additional comments?

The writing is very good and draws the listener into the plot. It's written in a very tight style where the action takes place in but a few places, not overly weighed down with descriptions of clothing and residences and other characters. The focus is really on the perspectives of the main characters and I loved how you were inside of their heads; listening to their thoughts, fears and concerns. Well done. I gave it five stars because it was truly enjoyable.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Of course! I recommend audiobooks all of the time. I'm a relative newbie to the romance and erotic genre however, this book was fun because of all of the characters and the smart twist at the end.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I suppose I favor the male characters like Lord Malory. He's kind hearted and passionate and really is surprised when he falls in love.

What does Michael Page bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Audiobooks are so very entertaining. It's almost like watching a play but your imagination can still be active when it comes to the characters and what they would look like. Audiobooks are the best ever!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

If you could sum up Beautiful Stranger in three words, what would they be?

    Exhibitionism Bares Love

What did you like best about this story?

Max Stella was so doggone lovable. Scandalous and witty a great friend and the consummate lover.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant and Jonathan R. Cole ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This story line was better than Beautiful Bastard, which got a little one dimensional.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Where does Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's in the top ten at least, although within the series, I'd be pressed to make it third or fourth. I grew a little tired of her resistance even though her Mack was a drunken brat at one time.

What other book might you compare Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage to and why?

Some of Sylvia Day's period pieces have a female protagonist who resists the charms of a scoundrel man she'll ultimately wind up in bed with and wedded to. The storyline is familiar but I adore the brothers in this series. Ian, Cameron and Hart are worth the read and listen to.

Have you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Superb. Excellent technique. She eases the listener through the maze of characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really but perhaps over a weekend, with some breaks. Worth the credit. Amen!

It was whispered all through London society that he was a murderer, that he'd spent his youth in an asylum and was not to be trusted - especially with a lady. Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie to be better than the print version?

I have nothing to compare however, I'm "mad" about the audio. Best ever way to move through a romance novel.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ian of course! You'll fall in love with his eccentricities, passion, and love for his family. Ian is complex, probably in today's terminology he's in the spectrum disorder range but he manages as best he can with the support of Beth and his family and Curry his loyal valet. Smart beyond reason, Ian is direct and passionate about all that is important to him.

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She's a pro. Excellent narrator whose expertise controls the movement of the characters through the story. Bravo!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

To learn about Ian's abuse in the asylum was heart breaking and the cruelty of his father. Yet, he's a survivor who finds out what love is all about.

Where does The Many Sins of Lord Cameron rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Absolutely in the tops. I'm a relative newcomer to the Romance genre however, this series is delightful, well written and compelling. You feel for the characters and become easily involved in the storyline.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cameron. He's rough around the edges but with good reason. A lost boy who finds his way to love.

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She captures the flavor of the time period and her vocal expertise helps you track the various characters. Listening to her is a dream. She's a true pro--accents and all. Superb.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Probably when the true story of his demented wife comes to light. Cameron is proud but has sacrificed much to save his son. All of the Lords have had nightmare childhoods with a tyrant for a father, Cameron escaped much of that but was saddled with a cray-cray sex addicted suicidal wife. The truth about her misdeeds towards her child were shocking.

    Any additional comments?

I seriously listen to this series over and over again. Simply enjoyed it immensely.

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town and a media punch line....

What did you love best about And One Last Thing...?

For every woman who has considered some form of vengeance, this story takes it to a whole other level with riotous laughter and humility.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lacey represents every woman with a cheating spouse or boyfriend. She is so much smarter than she gives herself credit and she spent years selling herself short. It's refreshing to hear her self discovery and forgiveness and figure out what type of relationship she really wants and needs with humor and eventually grace.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

The Southern accents were dead-on. The delivery of punch-lines were perfection and moving from character to character was flawless.

Who was the most memorable character of And One Last Thing... and why?

Lacey of course...but I wanted to kick BeBe's butt over and over again and that made her memorable in a good and bad way.
