Dr. Melanie Lipton is no stranger to the supernatural. She knows immortals better than they know themselves, right down to their stubborn little genes. So although a handsome rogue immortal seems suspicious to her colleagues, Sebastien Newcombe intrigues Melanie. His history is checkered, his scars are impressive, and his ideas are daring. But it's not his ideas that have Melanie fighting off surges of desire.... Bastien is used to being the bad guy. In fact, he can't remember the last time he had an ally he could trust. But Melanie is different....

Ami - she is strong, she is fearless - she is weak, she is afraid - she is HUMAN! so giving of herself.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her take on the voices - the quips, emotion just spot one. you can HEAR the body language - that's how GOOD she is!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Wanting more just wanting more - Zach? Cousins? Seth? So many more books to go in the series - SO EXCITED!!

Ever since he saved Dr. Mackenzie Grant's life, panther, shifter, and sorcerer Kalen Black has had trouble keeping the beautiful doctor out of his thoughts and his heart. The brush with death awakened an intense passion between them - one that for the first time had the notorious loner letting down his guard. With the Alpha Pack battling an evil Fae who is slowly gaining control over Kalen's mind, Kalen can no longer trust his own actions, and he breaks off his affair with Mackenzie in order to keep her safe. But when Mackenzie learns that she is carrying Kalen's child, no amount of danger will keep her away from the man she loves.

If you could sum up Black Moon in three words, what would they be?

If you didn't read the novella you'd be a little lost for a bit. If you did read the novella you'd be a little irritated at the slight repetition. But you can get through it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Black Moon?

When Dad came for a visit. BAH HAHAHA!

Have you listened to any of Kirsten Potter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    YES! And she's AWESOME!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I can see where the other readers would be a bit on the harsh side but really think about the situation and the ages of the characters. When you take that into account Ms. Tyler NAILED IT!

    Any additional comments?

Yes. Navy SEALS are SAILORS not soliders. If "General" Grant is in the NAVY then he's an ADMIRAL. Also, there are no Marine Lieutenants the equivalent would be a Marine Captain. Please Ms. Tyler I know you might think most of your audience might not be women in uniform......but you might be surprised ;)

Krysta is used to getting the drop on vampires. Her "special abilities" aren't much, but the plan is simple - she plays helpless pretty young thing to lure them in. Then her shoto swords come out and it's bye-bye, bloodsucker. Until one night she finds herself with an unexpected ally. He's a vampire, all right, but different. Mysterious. Handsome. And more interested in saving her skin than draining it. Etienne has been an Immortal Guardian for two hundred years-long enough to know that Krysta is special.

I was talking back to the book! Laughing Out Loud at one part, Awwing at other parts it was just WOW!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

a GREAT human story line - no superman here just life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Diaz - full of mystery - character not explained but enough detail to give the reader the imagination to run

What about Joyce Bean’s performance did you like?

As usual great voices for characters - pauses work well, modulation and emotion spot on.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some loose ends I would have liked better tie up a little more closure. But the main characters and the ending was very VERY STRONG.

What did you love best about A Clash of Kings?

GRRM is the best fisherman ever! Just enough of each character leaving you wanting more - then on to the next character answering questions and giving you more questions!

What other book might you compare A Clash of Kings to and why?

Lord of the Rings - but I did not "listen" to the books, so the comparison is not fair.

Have you listened to any of Roy Dotrice’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Not until Game of Thrones.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
