It's my own fault. I did not read the reviews of this book. I was curious that a J.D. Robb book about Eve Dallas was given a title without "in death" in it and I was looking for something to listen to until my credits were available so it is my own fault that I spent money on a book I've already read and I wish I had my $10 back. It's not about the story which was worthy as always, Audible should have made it clear that this book was sold as part of another book ( Remember When) in their description of this book.
Hope there are more books to come. Loved the kids and want to "see" them shut the bad guys down.
Just couldn't get to a part that grabbed my interest. I thought the main story was going to be off the ship. I couldn't find a single character that I liked.
I wish books 4, 5 and 6 (especially) would be re-recorded. I like Debi Mazar as an actress in the right part, but she is a terrible narrator. I wanted all of Janet's books on audio but I really hate unabridged books and I really, really disliked the narration by Debi. I may return 4 and 5 too and hope that those 3 books will be re-recorded someday.
I read this book a really long time ago and forgot how great it is. Steve did a wonderful job narrating.
I hope this follow up book is at the printer cause I don't know how long I can sit on the edge of my seat!
Sorry Joe, but these guys are only 24 years old and you sound like a 60 year old smoker.
I like Stuart Woods and Tony Roberts is a good actor but I'll never listen to another audio book that he is the narrator of. The book was Stuart Woods great. I love Stone Barrington, Holly and her father Hamm but I will be reading Stuart Woods from now on, not listening.
