None come to mind. This book was unique.
Most of the scenes take place in a hotel, but the psychological aspect is gripping.
Please, Audible, get more of Wilhelmsen's work.
Another great Hanne Wilhelmsen book. This is a terrific book with a quirky Norwegian bent but it is compelling and very entertaining. The performance is very good and the overall experience highly recommended.
This is a great historical novel and guides the listener through the maze of Henry VIII's life with Ann Boleyn after the birth of Elizabeth. Fascinating, particularly since the story is told by Thomas Cromwell.
Wolf Hall was terrific and this is a worthy follow-on but can also stand alone. I kept asking myself how the author could fashion such complex yet entertaining dialogue.
I was disappointed. It just ended and there was much missed opportunity for the author to add something more.
Nicely done and fitting for the material.
Yeah, I guess so. Some interesting perspective on the political atmosphere of the era.
but wait it out. A good book about an interesting time. It does scream for a good editor in the early part, and but the book does eventually move and the story is very interesting.
