    • By Molly Harper
    • Narrated By Amanda Ronconi
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Sadie Hutchins loves her job at the Kentucky Tourism Commission. Not only could her co-workers double as the cast of Parks and Recreation, but she loves finding the unusual sites, hidden gems, and just-plain-odd tourist attractions of her home state. She’s a shoo-in for the director’s job when her boss retires at the end of the year…until hotshot Josh Vaughn shows up to challenge her for the position. Josh is all sophisticated polish while Sadie’s country comfort, and the two have very different ideas of what makes a good campaign.

Diana Turmenne says: "Made me want to visit Kentucky!"
"Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi Do It Again!"
If you could sum up My Bluegrass Baby in three words, what would they be?

    Super witty romance.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kelsey is quick witted and sexy and I can't wait for the third installment of this series so that I can read about her romance.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Amanda Ronconi is alway stellar. She picks up on the nuances of Harper's language and makes me laugh out loud. They are a great team. I always read the book first and then listen to the audible version when I am commuting to the office. At this point I hear Amanda's voice whenever I read Harpers books for the first time.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I lauged the whole time. Harper is a comedic genius!

  • Hard Magic: Book I of the Grimnoir Chronicles

    • UNABRIDGED (15 hrs and 59 mins)
    • By Larry Correia
    • Narrated By Bronson Pinchot

Jake Sullivan is a licensed private eye with a seriously hardboiled attitude. He also possesses raw magical talent and the ability to make objects in his vicinity light as a feather or as heavy as depleted uranium, all with a magical thought. It's no wonder the G-men turn to Jake when they need someoneto go after a suspected killer who has been knocking off banks in a magic-enhanced crime spree.

Clinton says: "Not what I thought it was going to be."
"Best book I have read in a while!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend this book to a friend, in face, I already have. Multiple times. It is getting quite annoying actually. The non-stop action and twisting plot kept me entertained and excited the whole time. It felt like if Joss Whedon had a baby with the movie Sin City. If you picture that.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hard Magic?

The scenes where Faye learns to use her magic on the Imperium dirigible.

What about Bronson Pinchot’s performance did you like?

Pretty much everything. He has specific voices for each character and they all lend to the development of said character. He is also the embodiment of onomatopoeia. Each word has the impact of a sound. Whether that word is meant to be quiet or loud. The reader feels them as Pinchot speaks them.
