The story was not over done, it was nice and level, not to dramatic and not to slow.
all of them, she has a fantastic voice for audio books.
the story is just the one you would want, when just relaxing and enjoying.
The story is one that just nailed me in the hart. i love the story where the one who find love come from hard times. Mrs Pillow has an awesome ability to tell a story that just sucks you in. and this is one that doesn't disappoint. you won't be let down, so buy this and lean back.
definitely, i couldn't put it down, or stop it.
it was a story full of humor and just fantastic. i started my romance with romance books by reading Michelle M. Pillow and i am not going to stop. she can just create a world that sucks you in. her characters have a substance and humor that just makes you want to cry, and i have cried when reading her books. and if you haven't read any of her books i would say " What Are You Waiting For"
No, the narrator was almost whispering, like he was trying to make his voice female. it was an experience to say the least.
the story was nice and to the point, no frills and unnecessary creeping around the bush. of course i would have liked a longer story, but thats just me. it was worth the price, maybe not a credit worth, but the price was not to much.
she var to inconsistent, and there was no nuances in her voice. she could just as well be reading the obituaries.
I have never not finished a book. but 20 min in and i guit. the narrator just butchered the story.
Lesley had a very pleasing voice, and really gave the characters life.
I really didn't like wolf, he was so cruel and unthinking. but that just gave the story an authentic feel. Genivra was so innocent i almost didn't finish the story. i couldn't believe how she could keep from screaming at wolf. but then again it just made the story more real, because the women of that age, were kept in the dark about all most everything. in the end i was rooting for them and actually liked them. The way mrs pillow takes you through the hole story from childhood and into adulthood was so genius and made the story so real.
A really good short story, with lots of heat and good humor. ideal for the bus or just a little break from reality.
sure, it delivers a short steamy story, that will leave anyone hot under the collar.
it was a fine, what i would call, short story. it was hot and the scenes were very graphic. there was just not much depth to the story, it is a slam bam thankyou mam kind of story. we don't get much of a back story, a little here and there. when that is said, i liked the new take of the shifter world, with the chieftains and the royal scene.
so to sum up, a fine story, but don't expect a profound ore soulful story. this author still need some experience in my opinion.
The part where Karre tells her story to a "sleeping" Vidar. i almost teared up.
I really liked this book, more than the others in the series. Kerra made me both groan and laugh. the story had a good rhythm, and the pictures just miraculously appear in your brain.
so if you like them graphic, and humorous, then this is a book for you.
i must admit i wasn't looking forward to this book, because i didn't like the image that was painted of paige in th other books. i thought her selfish and too stuck up. but as i heard the story, i got a better and better picture of her. in the end i was actually rooting for her. so i would say, if it could get me to like her, it was well written. because i very seldom change my mind, ones it's made up.
As always Mrs Pillow, has a clear winner. it only gets better with the invention of audio, i bought the book when it came out over ten years ago, god is it rarely that long ago, how time fly's when you have great books, the additional story line she has added, just made the book better fore me, i always thought the book could need some more. and that it got. I would clearly recommend this to anyone ho love romance, and Sci-fi.
