Beth Hoffman’s bestselling debut, Saving CeeCee Honeycutt, won admirers and acclaim with its heartwarming story and cast of unforgettable characters. Now her unique flair for evocative settings and richly drawn Southern personalities shines in her compelling new novel, Looking for Me.

This book was not a typical read that I could predict. There were twist and turns that held my interest. I found myself antsy to get in my car waiting to hear the next few chapters on my way to work!

Teddi was a real character, down home, loving, smart, courageous, and determined to say the least. She had a great family, yet they had their issues - minor ones, but issues none the less.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves the South, the East Coast, the accents, antiques, and old history.

I am not from the East Coast, but these are kind of books I search for the most.

Loved it! Beth Hoffman wrote Cee Cee Honeycutt and I thoroughly enjoyed that book as well!

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. In 1945, former combat nurse Claire Randall returns from World War II and joins her husband for a second honeymoon. But their blissful reunion is shattered....

Listen to Outlander! AND, you will get the bonus of watching it on TV too! The saga of Claire and Jamie, goes on and on ......... wonderful story. Claire goes back in time from 1940's to the 1700's in Scotland. The television series is very true to the book & it's great to see the characters and give them a face.

I loved the history about this book, but did not care for the narrators. Normally, I like Karen White narration, but this one, I almost did not listen to the entire book. The story line kept me wanting more, so I finished it. On another note, can't wait for more of the Tradd Street series Karen!!!

Melanie and Jack are at it again! And with the ghosts in the house, it makes it as interesting as all the other books that Karen White has published in this series! I love it when Karen leaves a cliff hanger at the end, so that the story can continue. Highly recommend. The narrator is great and I hope that Karen continues to use Aimee Bruneau. On pins and needles till the next chapter in the life of the Trenholm's. To quote Karen, "In other good news, there's a chance that the series could make it onto the small screen in a TV series in the near future". I'm so excited !!!
