loved it, I would like more of her books to be audio. I listen on my I-Pod
I was so disappointed, I wait for each addition of Ann B. Ross's books this one is not anything worth the cost of the book. What happened?? Etta Mae seems to think that Ms. Julia is not very nice to her and if you have read the prior books you would know that the two women have a deep respect for each other and this addition seems to not be that way at all. I would love to hear from other fans.
I like cozy mysteries this is a good one. I would recommend it to anyone who like a light cozy books.
I was expecting another, cozy mystery by Joanne Fluke-she is noted for writing such titles as the Devils Food Cake Mystery oh boy, was I wrong. Starting with the daughter is killed in a snowmobile accident and it just gets worse, I just kept listening thinking it would improve,it just got sad. I have to say if you are expecting that kind of mystery you would be so wrong.
I am sorry this one was a disappointment, too much historic information and less of a good mystery, maybe next time?? I enjoy the fact that these stories take place in Chicago, which is very familiar to me.
The book is not for the faint of heart, very well written and scary but I could not stop listening.
I only wish more of her book were available on audio. Narrator was excellent as well as the story was great.
Usually I love C.J. Box's books in fact I pre-ordered it, but I hated the story very raw for me, I would not recommend this book. I am 70 years old maybe, I prefer a little less violence.
I have all of the Miss Julia books that are available on audio-the main story line seems to be a collection of recipe's this is not what I expected and I am disappointed!
I love cozy mysteries, I wish audio books more of them.
Everything, she is a wonderful narrator and brings life to the story.
The recipe's, not any of the characters, I wanted more of the story line.
Not buying it in the first place, if that answers your question.
I don't think so.
An interesting plot
The whole book was disappointing, not at all like Janet Evanovich's usual books.
Love her as a narrator
