This story of an adopted child needing to search for her identity and to find her birth other really was touching and very well done. The author has excellent insight into all concerned parties in an adoption. Very human, interesting and enjoyable!
Again I really enjoyed Adriana's writing, the story of Nella and her family, loves, her work and her children. I would love to know these characters in real life! Keep writing Adriana!
I love this series. It takes me on a vacation to the Virginia mountains and their people with this wonderful accents and great stories. Keep them coming Adrianna!
I really enjoyed this lengthy story - especially the parts about the FBI witness protection program and security. It got a little too heavy on romance at times but told a captivating story of a young woman finding, protecting and cherishing her identity and life. I really enjoyed the reader. The story certainly held my attention throughout.
I loved the vocal of this story. I think listening made it much more interesting than reading it.
Maybe I just didn't like the ending but I got very tired of John Luca. I enjoyed the story of the shoe company and Valentine's relationships and professional values - just not her romantic dependence on John Luca. Not nearly as satisfying or interesting as 'The Shoemaker's Wife'.
I loved this story and the narrator was outstanding. I felt like I was back in Italy and loved every minute of it. I will be sure to read the rest of this author's books and hope I get to listen to Orlagh Cassidy again.
