Both our grandchildren, ages 9 yrs & 7 yrs loved it; and Grandpa and I were engrossed in the story, also. We listened to it as we traveled from Kansas to California. We had listened to How to Be A Pirate earlier in the trip. It made our drive seem shorter. We enjoyed the humor and the suspense.
Yes, probably her other books in the same series.
Humor and appreciation for creativity.
Thanks for the story.
I really enjoyed this book as it gave an insight into the author, Nicholas Sparks, that I did not know previously. It sheds light on why he wrote some of his fictional books that I have read. I had to pay close attention to the storyline to realize when he was shifting from his current adventures and reflecting on his past life with his family of origin.
An excellent story of life with a labrador retriever. The antics of the dog are humorous. The hardships of owning a dog are true to life but the positive outcome of such experiences provide understanding of the value of owning a dog. The inclusion of how the presence of a dog changes the lives of the family is so true and touching. Highly recommended for dog lovers and those who enjoy stories of love, faithfulness and life experiences.
