I think it is pretty clear that the Author of this book had a very strong point of view when she undertook the writing of this book. There is no doubt that she had a bone to pick with all three men. It is not completely surprising since she was part of the industry as a writer for Variety. She should have done a better job of hiding her animosity.
There is some good information in the book, and some interesting anecdotes. However, it was all clouded by the obvious slant of the author. It was also quite a bit longer than it needed to be. There was no editing involved as far as I could tell. The reader was OK, not great.
Lovely heart felt story of love lost and found again. It makes one think hard about life, love and circumstances. I highly recommend this book.
I loved "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and this was a wonderful 2nd novel. It is hard to believe the writer did not want these published, and wrote them for fun. He has amazing descriptive abilities. This book is much easier to read after the first, since you are familiar with many of the characters. Each Character in his novels is beautifully formed and described. I couldn't put this one down.
I chose this book as part of Audibles New Years Promotion. I can truly say this book has changed my life. I put its doctrine into use after the first of this year and have not looked back. The book is well written and interesting as well has humorous. The readers are excellent. I felt like I was listening to the authors speak. If you need a change in your lifestyle, READ THIS BOOK!. I actually bought 5 of these after listening to it, to give to friends.
I enjoyed both the story and the reader. As with most Koontz books, it has well woven characters into a good sci-fi story.
This was a fun, entertaining and well read short story. I can't believe it was free. Thanks Audible!
I bought this book because it was read by Frank Muller. I wasn't disappointed. I can't think of a better way to listen to a classic story.
What a fun read! As a Star Trek fan and a huge fan of Boston Legal, I already liked William Shatner's dry sense of humor. He reads his book as he should, like he is telling a story, his story. It is fun to listen to and quite interesting. Perfect for a cross country plane trip!
