It’s all about the food…. For the Robertsons, family is typified by the dinner table, where both food and fables are dished up with equal care. Anyone with a good story - whether it be a hunting escapade or one of the children’s antics - is welcome to share. And that’s what this family is all about - sharing, caring for one another, and the love of good food. Chapters are built around recipes that represent each stage of the Robertson life. What do faith, family, ducks, and money have in common? Korie and Willie Robertson!

What more can you say about this book, that has not already been said?

I did want to punch Scarlett in the throat a few times!! Also the beginning of the book was treacherous. I am surprised I finished it (I think it's my OCD - if I start it I have to, have to, have to finish it).

    I read it...let's move on

Internationally best-selling author Francine Rivers—winner of a Christy Award and the ECPA Gold Medallion—crafts a riveting tale of mother/daughter bonds stretching across decades. Strong-willed Marta leaves Switzerland early in the 20th century and settles in California. Though Marta loves her eldest daughter Hildie, they often clash as they attempt to find their places in the world.

Hmmm...kind of disappointed with this one. I had high hopes really seeing a mother/daughter relationship. Also God was not really present in this one, like her other books. I will continue to read the second/last book just to see how it ends.

The powerful debut novel from Alan Brennert, Moloka’i tells the story of Rachel Kalama, a seven-year-old Hawaiian girl who contracts leprosy and is quarantined on the island of Moloka’i during the 1890s. Separated from her family and forced to grow up in the leper colony of Kalaupapa, Rachel experiences intense isolation. But she remains strong, finding moments of joy, and even love. Rich in Hawaiian history, this novel proves itself a stellar piece of historical fiction.

Moloka'i is a book about history, heartache, strength, love and perseverance. The beauty of Hawai'i was brought to life so colorful and vivid with just mere words. Also, how this ha'ole author embraced the feeling of ohana. Not just your blood family, but people who come into your life that become your ohana. A book that has peaked my curiosity of whether any of my ancestors went to Kalaupapa.

I gave the book 4 stars because the pronunciation of some of the hawaiian words were off. Other than that, a good read. I am so glad I purchased it.

What made the experience of listening to Redeeming Love the most enjoyable?

It was the first time I read a "Christian" romance and I was so engaged with the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

How it wasn't a mushy, everything falls into place type of novel. The characters were so well represented that I became vested in their lives while reading this book.

Which character – as performed by Kate Forbes – was your favorite?

    All of them.

If you could take any character from Redeeming Love out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Michael - Just to know a man after God's heart. Someone who will do whatever God tells him to do even if it feels like it's ripping his heart to pieces.

    Any additional comments?

What a great story! Such a reminder of how much God loves me. No matter what I do, say or think he is still there with his arms open to me. Wow! 70x7!

New York Times best-selling author Tracy Anne Warren is among the world’s most popular Regency romance novelists. She sweeps listeners to the Irish countryside for this saucy tale of deception. When Lady Jeannette Brantford is banished from her family’s estate in England, she encounters the dashing Darragh O’Brien. Too bad the common architect is well below her station.

I didn't want to read this book because Jeanette was a spoiled rotten little girl. She does not deserve someone so good. But I had to because it's part of a series and I am OCD in doing things in order. I don't agree with some of the reviewers saying Darragh abused her by making her work, she deserved to learn how to be grateful. I am hoping the third book is better.

Would you listen to A Hunger Like No Other again? Why?

Maybe, but I'm not a read a book again type of person. There are too many books out there that I haven't read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mist, because she is sanely insane. She made me laugh

Have you listened to any of Robert Petkoff’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to any of Robert Petkoff's performance, but he is awesome in this book. He brings the book to life. He is distinct in the characters and you can tell the difference who is who.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    I laughed out loud literally.

    Good book, great narrator!

    The Narrator - awesome job.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Perks of Being a Wallflower?

The story of how Patrick got his name to be nothing...gotta love high school.

What does Noah Galvin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Noah is awesome. His voice was perfect for this book. I loved how he switched characters and how their voices changed, not drastic but you hear the difference.

    Any additional comments?

The story is really about growing up and how one kid functioned amongst dysfunction. It makes me want to watch the movie.

Slow start....the book got a little confusing at the beginning. There were many characters to know and I just couldn't keep up with all the names. Especially one person has their name, nickname and their sire name. UGH!!! I almost gave up listening, but being a person who can "NOT" finish a book once I started, kept on listening.

I am soooo glad I did! Once you get to know the characters, you get hooked. If you love this book, you should listen to it. Roy Dotrice is an awesome narrator. He really brings each character to life (and there are a lot of characters).

**I recommend watching the series first to get to know the people.
