My first experience with politics was sitting with an elderly women watching the Iran Contra Trials on C-Span. I was 4 or 5 and extremely bored. So when I saw this book I thought it would shed some light on what I was watching as a child. I was not prepared for this story. The story is amazingly riveting, backed up with evidence, you begin to gain respect for Rick Ross.
I never thought I would ever say a book is too descriptive. The story just gets lost in the ongoing descriptions of the planets, the characters weird life, and biology. In the middle the story diverts to Earth and it lends nothing to the main story line. The ending was so dull I practically fell asleep during it.
It is a simple topic but often overlooked. I have been implementing some of the suggestions provided by the book and have had great success. The author is correct connecting why your organization exist with what you do on a daily basis is a great for motivation of your employees. It is a great listen for anyone new to management.
