Best-selling author Jenny McCarthy returns to her comic roots in this candid, wise, and witty look at women, men, sex, romance, heartbreak, love, and how (not) to fake it. In Love, Lust & Faking It, the inveterate truth teller turns the lights on for a funny, often poignant, and no-holds-barred look at the essence of relationships: love and sex.

I knew Jenny would right a funny book but I didn't expect to learn so much. I really enjoyed her frank stories and laughed many times and winced a few as well. I related to many incidents and a few hit very close to home. Jenny interviewed several experts and polled ordinary twitter folks as well to provide current opinions. I did find the book a bit long and was glad I was listening to it and not reading it. It was a good listen on a long (boring) road trip. I will certainly read more of Jenny's books.

Vampires have officially "come out of the coffin", and Miss Sookie can't wait for one to come her way.

I found this book to be quite charming. The romance that developed between Sookie an Bill was very tender and not overly graphic. The murder mystery was well developed but I was a little sad to see some of the characters killed off so early in the series. I look forward to reading the next book.
